For The Visually Impaired
The Missouri Instructional Resource Center f/t Visually Impaired (MIRC) coordinates the registration of students who are legally blind and administers the Federal Quota Funds. By law, the funds must be used to purchase braille and large print texts and specialized educational materials produced by the American Printing House for the Blind (APH). The students may be in public, parochial, or home schools and agencies statewide.
