Students With Visual Impairments
The Missouri Instructional Resource Center (MIRC) for students with visual impairments, coordinates the registration of students with visual impairments and administers the Federal Quota Funds. By law, the funds must be used to purchase braille and large print texts and specialized educational materials produced by the American Printing House for the Blind (APH). The students may be in public, parochial, or home schools and agencies statewide.
