Health Services

Missouri School for the Blind has a health center which provides general health maintenance for all students which includes the administration of medications according to doctor’s orders, first aid, treatment of minor illnesses and accidents on an as needed basis. The staff in the health center has the responsibility to maintain medical records for all students attending the school. The health center is staffed by a licensed registered nurse and licensed practical nurses. Missouri School for the Blind adheres to the Missouri Standard of Practice.
