Alternate Book Club (ABC)
The is open to all academic students in grades 7–12 who like to read and talk about great books!
In the ABC, each student reads books of their own choosing, unlike in the High School Book Club where all read the same book at the same time. The ABC meets during lunch time once a month. Students take turns telling about the good books they've read since the last meeting, giving other students ideas of new books to read. The librarian also tells about new books that have recently been added to the library collection that students may want to read.
The purpose of this club is to give avid readers a club in which they can get together with their peers to talk about books, but still read the books that they like to read.
