Swimming
Both MSB girls and boys compete on swim teams each spring. This past season MSB’s girls’ team took fourth at the conference meet in April. The girls’ team, comprised of Amanda Drake, Tabitha Jenkins, Skily Smith and Amber Attaway, won a gold in the 200 yard medley, and Tabitha and Skily, along with boys Ellaun Williams and Trevon Graves, took silver in the coed 200 yard. MSB has been a perennial contender in swimming, sweeping the conference in 2005. That year, Tony Samson won five gold medals, Adnan Gutic took another, and the boys’ team won two golds in relay races.
