A separate room in the Library Media Center houses a large collection of professional materials, including books, journals, kits, and videotapes. The emphasis of the Professional Library is on education, especially the education of students who are blind or have other disabilities, such as deafness or autism.
Teachers and other staff members at Missouri School for the Blind may borrow materials from the Professional Library.
Parents of current students at Missouri School for the Blind may also borrow certain materials from the Professional Library (see Parent Bibliography).
Local Education Agencies may borrow certain materials from the Professional Library through the Library Statewide Services program. For more information, go to this link: Professional Development Lending Library.
